Disney has announced that 3D flick Oz: The Great & Powerful will be released in cinemas on 8th March 2013!!!!!!!! Why soooo long??????
The film acts as a prequel to the original movie, told by the view of the wizard himself, played by James Franco. Think Wicked, but not... Speaking of, when will we get to see a Wicked movie adaption, c'mon Hollywood!!!! You're remaking everything else!!!!!!
Michelle Williams has been cast as Glinda, with Mila Kunis to play Theodora and Rachel Weisz as Evanora, the elder witch. Spiderman director Sam Raimi will be helming the directors spot in this film as well.
We're excited to see it, but such a long wait makes for a bit of a downer.......
