So sad....
We here at World According To Sookie don't agree with wars, fighting, violence of any kind really, especially in the name of peace... But despite our personal feelings, we can't deny that the lives lost of these brave soldiers is a tragedy.
Sapper Rowan Robinson, 23, is the fourth Australian soldier to be killed in Afghanistan in the last fortnight, bringing the total lives lost in the last decade up to 27. He was killed on Monday in an 80-minute shoot-out with an insurgent force.
Our condolences go out to his family, friends and peers over this tragic loss.
